How would you like to get very close to the turtles, as you learn about Hawaiian history and traditions? This tour gives you the unique experience of paddling off Wailea Point and get acquainted with the honu and honu‘ea (Hawaiian Green Sea & Hawksbill Turtles) at turtletown. Even better? if you bring your swimwear you can jump in the water to swim alongside the turtles!
What to bring:
We recommend you bring along a few items to guarantee a smooth and memorable experience:
- Sunscreen – The sun in Hawaii can affect you if you don’t take the necessary precautions. Reflection from the water can make your skin burn faster than when on land.
- Swim Attire – If you plan on swimming with the turtles or alongside colorful fish, appropriate swimming attire is a must.
- Sunglasses – Take care of your eyes and bring along a pair of sunglasses.
- Towel – Don’t forget to bring along a towel in case you’d like to use one when you get out of the water.
- Waterproof camera – We strongly recommend you bring along a waterproof camera.
- Waterproof bag for your belongings – Belongings carried inside a canoe can get wet.
