Honu Kai B&B is a beautiful B&B 3 miles (8 minutes by car) above Kailua-Kona on the slopes of the Hualalai volcano. Their rooms are set on a lush tropical 1.3 acre estate close to a few Kona coffee farms. This is an upscale B&B with luxury amenities such as an on-property garden jacuzzi and sun deck.

Bed & Breakfasts on the Southern Kona Coast
The Kaʻawa Loa Plantation above Kealakekua Bay
The Kaʻawa Loa Plantation is a Bed and Breakfast on the grounds of a 5-acre coffee and tropical fruit farm. They are located 8 miles South of Kailua-Kona in the heart of the Kona Coffee Belt on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi at an elevation of 1,200 feet. This has the twin benefit of temperate temperatures and fantastic views over the ocean and Kealakekua Bay.
This B&B gets raving reviews for their location, their warm hospitality, and their great breakfast. They offer both rooms and a suite in the main house, and a private cottage located on the B&B terrain.
